No more scowling.
The world has shifted, my scowl is gone. And this Serviss is smiling today.
It's about perspective, attitude and intention. And rather than go all woo-woo hippie-dippy to explain, rest assured the intention is positive, upbeat and confident.
Putting theory into practice is life's challenge, and I accept and embrace this goal.
So for the record (remember records? vinyl?) this scowling blog has reversed philosophy and welcomes the wonderful world of all-possibilities.
To my life-mate, children, family and true friends: my heart is grateful (a little schmaltz is good for the soul) and hopeful. A better life, indeed.
Peace In.
Naomi Serviss takes on the world through her sarcastic, humorous sense of the absurdity such is life. Venting about all that crosses her mind, from Hollywood crap to spiritual advancement (you gotta problem with that?) Naomi is opinionated and not afraid to let you know. (She really loves feedback, people.)

That's All Folks.....
For those two people who read this--thanks!
Instead of scowling (which is hard to maintain) my focus is now on helping create something "new" in the field of non-confessional spleen-venting. It's on its way.
And so, from this last missive, I wish you "all" good health, love, friendship and comfort.
Go Saints!

Long Time No Scowl
Here I am again. Or still am. Or I'm still here. Yeah, that's it.
I fell off this blog wagon and went back to my old lover, uh, blog; the one about spas.
But just because I won't be scowling much more (I'm working on that) I will have other outlets, just find me on Facebook and keep up there. I'm too old and crabby to remember all these rules and blog things, so it's probably best to switch off again.
Now that we have landed in one of the coolest cities ever, Portland, I am starting to investigate Day Spas and I believe that should keep me busy for a titch. In case you forgot, it's www.spatrekking.com and you can sign up for it. I don't do heavy pitching or lifting. It's just fun.
Hope you feel that way, too.
Until we meet again in cyber(or other) space..........

Not Scowling Anymore
It was just a play on words, really.
Ever since we made the great leap north, my mood has undergone some changes. Most for the better. I still have my New York attitude, just toned down with some Portland-cool and laid-back nuance. Tucson is a blip, a bad memory (except for some people with good hearts).
Most of the time. I'm still a tad antsy about the whole "life-meaning-work-community-personal health" things, but so it goes.
Our quest from horrible scorching life among (and now I can tell you) rattlesnakes, tarantulas, yes tarantulas (that don't understand the difference between outside and inside) and those lovely little creatures known as scorpions, has led us to the Pacific Northwest, where the most offensive inside creature I've seen is a teeny weeny spider that I nonchalantly smooshed and flicked into the trash.
After what we've seen crawling around, no biggie. And still, it is a new place, a new environment to explore and hopefully a wonderful venture will meet us on the path. We have ideas and plans, just short on the usual ($$$) but with hope and renewed spirit will keep on keeping on.
No scowls please, we're (not) British.
